McNeil Family

Operated by the 2nd and 3rd generation (with a 4th generation alongside) the McNeil’s operate a 35,000 square foot dairy facility with 75 milking cows on 150 acres. The farm has desirable health status and quality of cattle in their herd, leading to the sale of embryos worldwide.

“Agriculture is a great vocation and…the milk business runs in my family. It’s in my genetics to love dairy cattle and the milk business.”

The Huron County Museum conducted interviews with agribusiness specialists across Huron County. Thank you to Heather Holme Holsteins for participating in our interviews.
