Letter written to Mr. McDowell from Mr. Henderson regarding ordering pictures Mr. Henderson recently took of him. The letter was written on J. Gordon Henderson Photographer stationary. The letter was kept with a negative and 3 photographic prints (A992.0003.599). Transcript Mr. Mcdowell Flight Lieutenant Port Albert Ont. Dear Sir, On examining the proof and the negative more closely we notice that in the one which you selected the subject has moved slightly. It would be better it you could select one of the other proofs. However if you wish to have the photograph finished from the one which you chose we will so; the amount the subject has moved is very slight and is not too noticible except on close examination. Until such tim as we hear further from you on this matter, the work on the photographs will be delayed. Trusting that this will meet with your approval we remain, Yours very truly
