Black and white image of No. 18 Astro Nav. Course Port Albert. There are two rows of men in uniform; the back row is standing and the front row is sitting on chairs outside on a boardwalk in front a building. There appears to be snow on the ground. None of the men are identified.

Original negative (labelled a) accompanied by 5 sepia photographs with different exposures (labelled b - f). The photographs and negative were kept in a brown envelope with "840 English Boys Port Albert Group 40 sec No. 18 Astro Nav Course Port Albert Sgt. Jackson 18 prints New Year Johns 3 - 50 [cents] a Christmas Monday after Christmas semi matte" written on in it in blue ink and pencil.
