Black and white image of class 96 of No. 12 Elementary Flight Training School. There are three rows of men in British Fleet Air Arm uniforms. The back and middle rows are standing, and the front row is sitting on chairs outside on a snowy runway with the top of an airplane and a barrack visible in the background. "Flight No. 96" appears near the bottom of the negative but not on the pictures.

There are 2 black and white photographs (labelled a & b) and 1 negative (labelled c). The photographs and negatives were in a brown envelope with "96 Mr. Hopkinson Course No. 91 2 pictures" written on it in pencil.
