Black and white medium close up portrait of a man in an RAF or RCAF uniform. There is an Eagle Shoulder flash badge and a Lead Aircraftman badge on his jacket. Beneath the eagle badge is another badge with "V.R." written on it. He is wearing a wedge cap.

The negative (labelled a) was accompanied by five black and white photographic prints with different exposures printed on postcards (labelled b - f). A note was also kept with the photographs (A992.0003.562).
