Brown crockery ink bottle. The bottle was found in the gully near Dunlop's Tomb during excavation work for the new bridge over the Maitland River, 1960.The bottle has been dated 1850. The original label has markings: "Maddox's Blue Black Writing Fluid". There is an imprint in the crock which is almost illegible. Markings: "Lambeth".
