Fire Steam Engine could build up a steam pressure of 40 pounds in 8 minutes.  The steam fire engines are essentially a pair of single-acting suction and force pumps driven by steam power.  This engine is horse drawn, with a coal bin on back.  In front there are two seats for the driver and another fire fighter.   The machine runs on four steel wheels, that also have removable snow runners for winter use.
