A 1925-1926 Essex Automobile manufactured by Hudson Motor Company of Detroit, Michigan.
- The car was owned and used by J. H. Neill, the founder of the Huron County Museum. He used it to collect many of the first objects in the Museum's collection in the 1940s and 1950s. Mr. Neill used to spend time driving around the area collecting farm implements an other antiques.
- H outfitted the car with all the things he needed to stay out on the road - a bed in the passenger seat area, a closet behind the driver's seat, and a small tent to use as a private outhouse. The exterior of the car had brackets to hold a two burner Coleman stove and room to stow a small table and two folding chairs.
