Robert Franklin Gordon Cameron sent this postcard to his mother while he was stationed in France during the First World War. Gordon enlisted with the 161^st Huron Battalion on January 17, 1916 in Brussels, Ontario. He was transferred to the 58^th Battalion and served in France. He was killed in action on August 27, 1918. He would have just turned 21. He is commemorated in the Vis-en-Artois British Cemetery in Haucourt, France.
