Black and white image of a grave marker in the shape of a cross in the middle of a field with plants, shrubs, and trees in the background. The engraving on the cross reads "R.I.P GB 1652976 Born Apr. 30, 1915 L.A.C. RAF Sullivan, M. J. Died Jul. 6, 1943." The original negative (labelled a) was accompanied by 2 black and white photographic prints (labelled b & c).

The negative and photograph were kept in a brown envelope with "990 Sky Harbour Grave LAC Sullivan" written on it in blue ink.
